Pantry Program
The Pantry program is designed to help low income clients to access healthy foods to supplement their diets. The Pantry program is offered bi-monthly on the second and last Thursdays of the month. Clients can be referred to this program through their case manager at SAN or the Spokane Regional Health Department. The pantry program is administered through the SAN office where clients come between 1:00-4:00 to collect their grocery items. The pantry program is unique in that clients have a choice of selecting 1-2 items from 10 grocery categories with multiple choices in each category. In this way, clients take only the food they will eat. While clients are waiting for their selected items to be bagged, they are served a nice meal to enjoy.
